Transparency & Stakeholder Hub
Being open about who we are, how we work and how we use our resources.
Brighter Futures believes that strong community organisations should be open about how they are governed, how decisions are made and how resources are managed.
Our Transparency & Stakeholder Hub brings together key information about our charity in one place, including our plans, policies, finances, trustee meetings, organisational standards and community assets.
We update this information regularly so that residents, partners, funders and anyone interested in Brighter Futures can see how we work and hold us to account.
We are focused on ensuring that everyone works towards fulfilling the charity’s vision and ensuring we stay on track.

Brighter Futures is led by an independent Board of Trustees and delivered by a team committed to creating opportunities and improving outcomes within our community.

Our Wellington Road centre is a former pub that Brighter Futures transformed into a community asset and now owns.
We continue to invest in the building so that it can provide flexible, welcoming and cost-effective space for local people, groups and community activity.
One of the most significant improvements has been increasing the building's Energy Performance Certificate rating from G to A, dramatically improving its energy efficiency.
Our certificate can be viewed online here:

Sharing resources to strengthen our community
Brighter Futures owns a range of vehicles, event equipment and sports resources which can support the work of other not-for-profit organisations.
Our aim is simple: where sharing resources can increase community capacity and reduce unnecessary costs, we want those resources to benefit the wider community.
More information about the resources available and how organisations can access them will be added here.

Transparency matters to us.
If there is organisational information you expected to find here but cannot locate, please contact us and
we will do our best to help.
