Overview 

We manage a sustainable community facility in the heart of Rhyl, developed from a derelict pub our facility is currently used for delivery of Men’s Shed, Women’s Shed, Youth Cafe, ASD Family Group, Parent & Toddler Group, Kidz Shed, Gardening Group, Wicked Young Carers, Women’s Craft Group, Girls Group, and Community Cafe, Repair Cafe, Breakfast Club and Winter Warmer sessions.  We are continually working to enhance our facility and activities with regular checks and inspections alongside ongoing upgrades and improvements to ensure it is fit for purpose to meet our communities needs.

Our Mission:

We will provide a high-quality facility that is as energy efficient and economically sound as possible, from that facility we will offer a wide range of inclusive activities and services that encourage individual resilience and community cohesion.

We will provide group activities for Men, Women, Youths, Children, and entire families.

Our facility will be managed by a dedicated Caretaker whose role is to ensure the building is maintained to the highest standards.

Our employees will be trained and supported in line with the Investors in people standards and always paid at a minimum the real living wage.

Our volunteers will be well supported, valued, trained, and celebrated in line with the of the Investors in volunteers standards.

Our Trustees will ensure we have excellent governance and robust systems in place while remaining locally led, unbureaucratic and grounded.

Our community will be regularly consulted and listened too; we will ensure that we adapt our priorities and activities to meet local needs as they change.
